Eylanbekov’s portrait bust of President Dwight D. Eisenhower has been presented as an annual award by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) to various global business, government, and cultural leaders. Recipients have included Sergio Marchionne, Henry Kissinger, and Bill Marriott.
The Business Council for International Understanding presented the sculptures by Sergey Eylanbekov to honor Heirs Holdings and United Bank for Africa Chairman Tony O. Elumelu and Marriott International, Inc. Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board J.W. Marriott Jr. with the 2017 Dwight D. Eisenhower Global Awards.

On Monday December 8, 2014 in New York City, Cipriani 25 Broadway was the setting for the 2014 Dwight D. Einsenhower Global Awards Gala. That evening, the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) recognized three distinguished leaders: Dr. Klaus Kleinfeld, Chairman and CEO of Alcoa; Mr. Maurice R. Greenberg, Chairman and CEO of C.V.Starr & Co (global insurance company) ; and the soccer greatest Pelé.

On July 2015 two portraits busts of mayors Keith Summey and John Bourne by Sergey Eylanbekov unveiled in North Charleston, SC at the North Charleston Coliseum, Performing Arts Center and Charleston Area Convention Center.

Commissioned to create a sculpture which was presented as a gift from the Gabonese Republic and its President Ali Bongo Ondimba to the soccer legend Péle at the African Cup of Nations, Libreville, Gabon.
A Lucite sculpture depicting Pelé executing his famous bicycle kick was created by Sergey Eylanbekov, the 2004 Sport Artist of the Year, and presented to Pelé at the country’s national stadium in Libreville.

The sculpture “Five Continents” officially represented the United States of America and was awarded First Place by the International Olympic Committee in the worldwide Olympic Art and Sport Contest 2004 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The award was presented by the by the IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Education at the World Forum on Culture Education and Sport in Barcelona, Spain. “Five Continents” is on permanent display at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland and was exhibited at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

In early 2000 Sergey Eylanbekov experimented with the series of sculptures cast in acrylic resin (Lucite). Working in this technique opened a possibility to have an effect of the subject/figure suspended in the air. This effect can be achieved because of the translucency and transparency of the material. Multiple reflections create a unique sense of movement within the piece.
