Dedicated on September 11, 2021, Generals Bridge monumental sculptures by Sergey Eylanbekov honor seven local generals with ties to Quincy.

Bronze portrait sculptures of General Joseph F. Dunford United States Marine Corps general, who served as the 19th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff;

General James C. McConville United States Army General who served as the 40th Chief of Staff of the Army;

General Gordon R. Sullivan United States Army General who served as the 32nd Chief of Staff of the Army.

Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) Award

Eylanbekov’s portrait bust of President Dwight D. Eisenhower has been presented as an annual award by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) to various global business, government, and cultural leaders. Recipients have included Sergio Marchionne, Henry Kissinger, and Bill Marriott.

Quincy Parks Conservancy and Honorary Chairman Mayor Thomas P. Koch honored Majority House Leader Ron Mariano with the First Annual Charles Francis Adams II Award.

2015

On July 2015 two portraits busts of mayors Keith Summey and John Bourne by Sergey Eylanbekov unveiled in North Charleston, SC at the North Charleston Coliseum, Performing Arts Center and Charleston Area Convention Center.

Commissioned to create statues of 2nd President of the United States John Adams and President of the Continental Congress and Governor of Massachusetts John Hancock for the City of Quincy, Massachusetts.

Commissioned to create portrait busts of mayors Keith Summey and John Bourne for the City of North Charleston, South Carolina

Commissioned to create a monumental sculpture of the President Heydar Aliyev for the Diplomatic Academy in Baku, Azerbaijan

Commissioned to create a sculpture which was presented as a gift from the Gabonese Republic and its President Ali Bongo Ondimba to the soccer legend Péle at the African Cup of Nations, Libreville, Gabon.

A Lucite sculpture depicting Pelé executing his famous bicycle kick was created by Sergey Eylanbekov, the 2004 Sport Artist of the Year, and presented to Pelé at the country’s national stadium in Libreville.

Commissioned to create a commemorative medal for Brookgreen Gardens, SC. Copies of the medal are in collections of the British Museum, London, England; Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; National Sculpture Society, NYC; American Numismatic Society, NYC.

2004

The sculpture “Five Continents” officially represented the United States of America and was awarded First Place by the International Olympic Committee in the worldwide Olympic Art and Sport Contest 2004 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The award was presented by the by the IOC Commission for Culture and Olympic Education at the World Forum on Culture Education and Sport in Barcelona, Spain. “Five Continents” is on permanent display at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland and was exhibited at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.

2000

In early 2000 Sergey Eylanbekov experimented with the series of sculptures cast in acrylic resin (Lucite). Working in this technique opened a possibility to have an effect of the subject/figure suspended in the air. This effect can be achieved because of the translucency and transparency of the material. Multiple reflections create a unique sense of movement within the piece.
